The first version of Windows 11, officially released for testers

A few days after the official presentation, Microsoft released the first test version of Windows 11 for users interested in testing it and enrolled in the Windows Insiders program.

The first Preview version of Windows 11 is already available for download but our advice is not to download it, because it still has many bugs. For example, you will not have access to Microsoft Teams service and support for Android applications.

Otherwise, in the Preview version of Windows 11 you will see almost all the changes made by Windows 11, from the new Start menu to the new application store.

Windows 11 will be able to be installed on all systems with Intel processor from generation 8 onwards or with minimal AMD Zen 2 processor.

Microsoft says it will also test systems with the 7th generation of Core processors, respectively Zen 1 processors, to see if they meet the standards of the new Windows.

Microsoft says the design and user experience have been streamlined to make it easier to get creative and solve tasks in a timely manner. Thus, the new Windows 11 has a modern, fresh, tidy and attractive look. In addition, through the Desktops function, they can create separate desktops for each type of activity, which they can then customize to their liking – desktops for work, gaming or school.

Windows 11 brings you closer to the news and information that interests you, through Widgets – a new custom feed, powered by artificial intelligence and the best version of the Microsoft Edge browser. In addition, for creators and publishers, the Widgets feature opens new screens in Windows to provide customized content.

A new Microsoft Store, which integrates both entertainment features and favorite applications


The new Microsoft Store is the only place where Windows users can access applications and content for viewing, creating, playing games, working, and learning.

Also, with Windows 11, Microsoft is bringing Android applications to Windows for the first time. Thus, starting this year, users will be able to discover Android apps in the Microsoft Store and download them through the Amazon Appstore – for example, they will be able to record and post a video on TikTok, or use Khan Academy Kids for virtual learning right from the computer.
